Lin-Manuel Miranda re-tells the tale of Alexander Hamilton, former U.S. Secretary of Treasury, through Hip-Hop and R&B music that has riveted audiences for almost 10 years. From writing the Federalist Papers to founding the U.S. Coast Guard, and eventually meeting his tragic end at the hands of Vice President Aaron Burr. Hamilton covers various key points in American history.

Lin-Manuel Miranda not only wrote this multi-award winning work, but he also starred as Alexander Hamilton as a part of the original cast.

The cast of the production, despite taking on the roles of white historical figures, is composed of non-white actors.
