Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote Hamilton in order to deliver the story of "America then, as told by America now". Hamilton builds on this goal by casting minorities to act the Founding Fathers such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Alexander Hamilton. Trey Curtis, Jared Dixon, Tamar Greene, and Stephanie Jae Park are a few of the many minority actors who currently bring Hamilton to life.
